Dr. Luis Martín, Head of the Pathological Anatomy department, promoted the use of Dragon Medical voice recognition since August 2011, which continues to operate at full capacity today, streamlining work processes in the department.

It allowed for the definitive abandonment of the use of analog support tapes (which were carried from one place to another and could get lost or corrupted), freeing the administrative secretarial staff from the routine transcription work so they could focus on more complex and value-added tasks for the department. This facilitated and unified the entire reporting process for the pathologists.
